At ChanceLight our top priority is the health and safety of our clients and staff. Out of an abundance of caution we will implement some temporary new procedures to support the recommendation for social distancing while we provide services to your child:
Therapists will now be getting children from their cars and also returning children to their cars upon arrival and departure. Please contact the clinic upon arrival. Only clinical staff and client will be allowed in the clinic.
All clients and staff temperature will be checked upon entering the clinic. If a fever is present services will not be provided and client or staff must be fever free for 24 hours without medication prior to return.
No outside toys will be allowed in the clinic or home. Only communication devices or materials needed for therapy will be allowed and all will be properly sanitized upon entering and exiting the clinic.
If you would prefer for your RBT to provide home based services, contact your Scheduling Administrator to determine availability.
Parent training will take place in home only or via telehealth if insurance allows. We are working with insurance companies to authorize BCBA services to be provided via telehealth and will update everyone as these decisions are made.
We hope to continue to provide your child’s medically necessary services and are taking the above steps to ensure safety. If you opt to cancel session(s), these cancellations will not be tracked as part of our attendance policy at this time.
